We're all little angels at Card Club!
Our November workshop at the Scout Hut involved making bags, tags and boxes and also ribbon angels. We were all quite taken with these as they were quite quick to make and can be used to decorate presents as well as decorations - see below:

Normal(ish) service resumed!
Well done Michelle on your blogging! Wouldn't let me access it from Menorca and even then I wouldn't have been able to do photos (apart from my holiday snaps and didn't want to bore you all!) Still Michelle has forwarded me the photos from the last workshop so will make up for it in this post. Looks like you had fun with your glitter paste and stencils, Christmas papers and embellishments...
And not forgetting your card club selfie that you sent me:
This is what we were doing while you were crafting - Cheers!
Oh and a couple more holiday snaps - look who lived in a rosemary bush in our garden:
We called him Herman as that's what type of tortoise he is. And of course the girls couldn't resist a bit of sand sculpture of him:
That's it now - got my holiday snaps in anyway! Won't bore you any further! See you next week now due to the date change.

Hello! Claire has gone on her holibobs & forgot to update you all on tonight's workshop so......it's all down to me & I haven't got a clue how to update the blog! Anyway...... Usual time & place & I'll have all the Christmas bits plus the glitter paste & stencils with me so you can do a few quick & easy Christmas cards or try your hand at something else whatever takes your fancy!
Sadly photos are a step too far for my limited blog-ability so you'll have to use your imagination &/or come along later to create your own masterpieces for the next blog update 😉😊😊😊

The winner of our challenge entry for Heat It was Linda W - card below. Our next and final challenge is Decorate It - create a Christmas decoration. You have two months to do this as this is our final ever challenge and will be for a prize. So go to town on this one and we can go out with bling!!

Christmas is around the corner...
...ninety-one days to go in fact! So we will be beginning our Christmas crafting with a decorations workshop. On offer this month will be a selection of activities including Christmas mini canvases - decorate them using acrylic paints, a sprinkle of glitter and decorative papers or a combination of all. Make a mini picture, a hanging canvas for the tree or a Countdown to Christmas decoration.
As well as canvases we have a selection of wooden trees, stars and reindeer blanks for you to decorate. They come with a base so they are fee standing. If you really like bling and glitter then you can really go to town on these!
We also have some air drying Fimo clay so you can have a go at making some tree decorations. Try making an impression with natural materials, embossing folders or rubber stamps. The clay is very lightweight when dry, so you could also use your creations to embellish your cards.
Don't forget your Heat It challenge cards and if you were the person who made this card please let us know so you can have your free workshop!

Blog blitz part 2
Here are some of the results:
Michelle was celebrating her 20th Wedding Anniversary so was not present at the workshop. We did let her know we were thinking about her with a couple of (non-)selfies!
The winner of the Blend it Challenge was announced as card C but as no-one came forward to claim the prize on the night we will announce it again next time. If this is your card please let us know and claim your free workshop!!
