A very big thank you to you all and to Mary Berry for remaining so cheerful throughout the evening!

Then there was the bi-monthly challenge. You again voted for your favourites (see Christmas Creativity post) and entries this time were actually ranked in the order shown on the blog with Kay B's entry (A) being the winner this month.

Kay was also the winner of our overall Dec this Journal Competition.

Kay's Winning Journal Entries

Thank you to Sandy and friends at the Craft Barn for judging and for donating a gift voucher as part of Kay's Prize.

Linda's Completed "Dec This Journal"
Linda W. was runner up in the Competition.

Billy's Journal was also Highly Commended by Sandy and her team.

Billy's Highly Commended "Dec This Journal"

Well done to all our other entrants too. It was great to have lots of entries for our bi-monthly challenges and fantastic that so many of you stuck with the challenge throughout the year to complete your journals.

We also fitted in some card making - a few last minute Christmas cards and the odd thank you card.

Mary was worn out, but still smiling as she was driven away in her chauffered limo!

Happy Christmas to you all and all the best for 2015. Keep pinning those ideas and see you on 28th January (or 17th December for those of you coming to the Christmas meal.)

Karen's "flashing" snowman has been censored to preserve his modesty!!

Do you want to build a snowman?

Or an origami wreath? Then make sure you come along to the Scout Hut in Ashtead this Wednesday 12th November. We will be starting at the later time of 8.30 to allow time for the Cubs to clear up.

Kay will be showing you how to make the origami wreath decoration or you could make the snowman, tree or poinsettia wreath using Nestabilities Circle dies and flower/leaf dies.

Don't forget to bring your finished Dec. this Journal masterpieces so we can arrange judging in time to announce the results at our second November workshop on Wed 26th.

The winner of our "Hot, hot, hot - heating and melting challenge" was announced this month too. First here are the entries you voted for:

And this month's winner of a free workshop was... B - Linda Walker, with  F - Kay and G - Marie coming joint second. Well done to all entrants.

Don't forget your completed "Dec. this Journal" is due in on 12th November!! And that workshop will be at the Scout Hut.
